Cawsand is one
half of the twin fishing villages of
Kingsand and Cawsand which were once
notorious for smuggling
The area is sometimes known as Cornwall's
forgotten corner because the mass of
tourists who cross the River Tamar head
towards the more commercialised areas of the
county.
The villages are in South East Cornwall on
the Rame Peninsula within the boundaries of
the highly regarded Mt Edgcumbe Park. |
