Kingsand and Cawsand,
Rame, Cornwall |
| |
|
Kingsand
&
Cawsand, are two villages merged into
one. Much to everyone's annoyance I
always get mixed up which part is which
and nine times out of ten I get it wrong. That apart both are a joy to walk
around and the people are nice (
remember nice people ? they say hello
and good morning, good afternoon, please
and thank you and things ) A couple of
really good beaches if you fancy a swim
or for just lazing around on, some very
good pubs with good grub, The Cross Keys
Inn (www.crosskeyscawsand.co.uk)
is in my mind is the best, you might need
to book a table though. The
Panache Gallery
(www.panachegallery.co.uk)
is worth a
visit it is owned and run by, Jan and
Mike Ferguson who
will assure you of a
warm welcome, and
will even open the
gallery out of hours
if you are unable to
visit during normal
opening. Topdraw which
is owned and run by Janet Hartnell is also worth
a good look around, ask her if you can see the
small garden at the rear of the shop
it's a absolute gem. |
